1910s Bronze & Hand Cut Crystal Ceiling Light
A beautifully cast early 1910s ceiling light, featuring a hand cut crystal globe that sits within within a cast-bronze Frame. The bronze ring is detailed with a patten of oval cartouches and fan-shaped scallop-shell motifs, each crisply cast and showing a superb aged patina with areas of natural Verdigris.
The globe itself is crafted from thick crystal and decorated with a bold diamond-cut lattice and starburst base, throwing patterned light when illuminated. The hinged bronze bezel allows access to the interior, a typical feature of higher-grade fittings from the period.
