A Lovely little late Victorian jewellery box, dating to from the 1880sto 1890s
constructed in a rectangular shape with a domed lid, the box is made from mahogany decorated with fine brass inlay to the top and front. The lid features a mounted campaign-style handle, adding both practicality and subtle detail.
The interior has been later re-lined in a rich blue velvet and includes a removable fitted tray with compartments, offering practical storage while complementing the warm tones of the exterior.
The box retains its original lock plate (key not present) and shows a well-aged patina with signs of use consistent with its age.
