Late 19th-Century French Brass Table Mirror with Bevelled Glass
A highly intricate late 19th-century French table mirror, cast in solid brass with richly detailed openwork throughout. The ornate crest features classical motifs including a crown, lions, and stylised dolphins, framing a central shield interlaced initials.
The frame is adorned with scrolling acanthus leaves, and Rococo-inspired detailing, all enhanced patina. The bevelled glass mirror has some light scratches. The original hinged brass support allows the piece to stand freely on a table or vanity. Stamped "326" to the rear.
