This beautifully crafted piece features three glazed doors with wooden shelving to the interior, above a panelled base fitted with cupboards and a central open niche. The cabinet is decorated with turned finials, a delicate spindle gallery, and arched apron details, reflecting the Gothic Revival influence found in late Victorian design.
Constructed in solid mahogany with a warm, even tone, it retains its original brass handles and showcases the superb craftsmanship for which Gillows were renowned. A distinguished and practical piece of furniture, combining architectural form with elegant proportion. Stamped “GILLOWS” to the door frame.
