£2,200.00

A striking early 20th century oak tennis cabinet, originating from Highgate School, featuring decorative hand painted panels.

Made from solid oak, the cabinet is richly decorated with hand-painted lettering and motifs, including rackets, banners, and a central crest. The decoration has been refreshed and enhanced over time, giving it a bold and characterful appearance.

The cabinet is formed in two sections, with the upper cupboard opening to reveal generous internal shelving, originally intended for storing equipment and club items. Below sit two drawers labelled “Singles Ledger” and “Doubles Ledger”, above a further cupboard offering additional storage. The interior shows honest signs of use.
