1900s Oak Cupboard with Reeded Panels,

£1,250.00

A wonderfully Edwardian oak cupboard, featuring beautifully reeded panel doors and a deep moulded cornice. Made from solid oak, the cupboard retains its original brass drop handle escutcheon and internal fitted shelves, along with a line of brass hooks across the upper section, a detail that hints at its possible use in a schoolroom, or domestic hallway.

The interior is panelled in pine, showing a pleasing depth of patina and wear from age and use. To one side are a pair of faint hand-carved inscriptions reading “Feb ’69” and “March ’69”, together with the initials “PJ” .
